BFFs Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale (with puppy Maui) are seen leaving a rigorous four-hour dance rehearsal at a top secret location in Utah on Thursday.

Of course, this was in preparation for their upcoming feature film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which also costars Lucas Grabeel (below).

Also spotted on set, but not pictured below: Monique Coleman, Olesya Rulin, Chris Warren Jr and director/choreographer Kenny Ortega.

Seems like the gang is all back together–but where’s Zac Efron and Corbin Bleu?? Stay tuned for new pics from the set of HSM3, which has a tentative release date of Friday, Oct. 24.

Vanessa Hudgens dons her furry hood as she dives into a slice of New York pizza on the set of her movie Will on Thursday in New York City.

Co-star Gaelan Connell joined her for a slice as well!

Chucky Klapow choreographed the dance moves for High School Musical 3: Senior Year scheduled for release in theaters in October and had some kind words for V: “Vanessa is the most naturally gifted in picking up the new moves!”

A super smiley (and solo) Vanessa Hudgens shows off a new set of bangs as she goes on a shopping spree in rainy New York City on Wednesday afternoon.

The 19-year-old High School Musical star started off in the West Village at Scoop boutique, then took a short walk to nearby Jeffrey.

After jumping into a taxi, she stopped off at Cartier in midtown to look for some new jewels. Vanessa picked up items from both Scoop and Cartier.

Vanessa Hudgens sits down with Entertainment Tonight to talk about her new teenage romance, Will.

The 19-year-old High School Musical star plays Sa5m (the “five” is silent), a teenage misfit caught up in her high-school’s battle of the bands.

“My look is definitely more dark than in High School Musical,” says Vanessa. “I play kind of the ‘emo, kept away from everybody else in her own world’ kinda girl. She wears a loo of black. She always has longsleeves with thumbs in them.”

Added Vanessa about her costar Gaelen Connell, who plays Will, “We do have a kiss scene–a very funny, awkward kiss scene.”

And Vanessa is glad she didn’t go through the drama a normal kid would get during their teenage years: “Honestly, I never went to high school. I was home schooled all my high school years. Part of me wants to wish that I did go to high school. I’m living my high school experiences through the movies I do–all of them seem to take place in high school. But missing all the drama is not a problem with me.”

ABC is finally getting a piece of Disney’s “High School Musical” franchise.

The network is developing a multiepisode reality competition themed to the “High School Musical” concept, with a nationwide talent hunt followed by a group of contestants studying at a music conservatory to hone their skills.

ABC is targeting a summer airdate for the “High School Musical” reality series.

Contestants will be eliminated each week until a final winning performer is chosen. ABC is keeping details of that top prize under wraps for now, however do not be surprised if the winner appears in an upcoming Disney Channel production!

Reality skein will include plenty of “High School Musical” themed moments, with appearances by the franchise’s stars. Network is in discussions with a production company to handle the show, but that deal hasn’t been finalized.

Disney has licensed “High School Musical” to actual schools around the country for stage performances. That led to last fall’s Disney Channel/Barbara Kopple documentary “High School Musical: The Music in You,” which followed a Texas theater group as they staged the play.

Project marks the first time the Disney Channel has shared the “HSM” franchise with a sister network.

The show’s talent search information will be posted on this blog as soon as the details are released.

Here is a first look at the official logo for the upcoming feature length film “High School Musical 3: Senior Year“. The movie will be theatrically released in the fall of 2008. The logo looks great and I can’t wait to see the film!

Vanessa Hudgens heads in for a lengthy lip-lock with her co-star Gaelan Connell on the set of her new movie Will in Austin, Texas on Thursday.

Will is about a battle of the bands at a high school with Vanessa playing a girl named Sam.

Gaelan’s character was also seen play-fighting over a book with Vanessa’s. He also ran his fingers through her hair!

Seems like things get pretty romantic for these two on-screen!
